RTC: The clock
The clock (or Time of Day clock) is a 24-hour clock. You can read out hours, minutes and seconds. You can set hours and minutes, but seconds can only be set on some controllers. If a controller doesn’t support setting the seconds, then the seconds are forced to 0. Hours are always 0-23, i.e. there is no am/pm indicator.
