That means that input changes and output changes are updated only when the controller reads and writes bus updates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2nd generation controllers at time of writing are the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/webprojects.cloud\/wordpress\/splatco\/knowledgebase\/product-documentation\/product-documentation-controllers\/mmi203-product-documentation\/\">MMi20x<\/a>\/<a href=\"https:\/\/webprojects.cloud\/wordpress\/splatco\/knowledgebase\/product-documentation\/product-documentation-controllers\/mmi203-product-documentation\/\">MMi99<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/webprojects.cloud\/wordpress\/splatco\/knowledgebase\/product-documentation\/product-documentation-controllers\/sl100-product-documentation\/\">SL99<\/a>. These perform XPice updates every millisecond. That means the effect of any programmed output change (<a href=\"https:\/\/webprojects.cloud\/wordpress\/splatco\/knowledgebase\/programming-reference\/instructions-arranged-by-function\/fasttrack-instructions\/on-oo\/\">ON<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/webprojects.cloud\/wordpress\/splatco\/knowledgebase\/programming-reference\/instructions-arranged-by-function\/index-register-instructions\/off-oo\/\">OFF<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/webprojects.cloud\/wordpress\/splatco\/knowledgebase\/programming-reference\/instructions-arranged-by-function\/index-register-instructions\/output-oo\/\">Output<\/a>\u00a0etc) will not take effect for up to 1mS after the instruction is executed. This will add to the several mS mechanical response time of the relays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly, any change on the inputs will not be seen by your program for up to 1mS after it happens.
