Naturally, any board that possesses an LCD port will report it as being there. The result is pushed into\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/webprojects.cloud\/wordpress\/splatco\/knowledgebase\/glossary-of-terms\/#o3808\">X<\/a>\u00a0as a True. If the board does not have an LCD port this instruction will result in a fatal runtime error, and your program will re-start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In general all SPx peripherals must respond to an RUT poll. With&nbsp;<em>external<\/em>&nbsp;peripherals the usefulness of an RUT is to allow a system to determine its own configuration. With&nbsp;<em>onboard<\/em>&nbsp;peripherals it is included for consistency but is of little practical use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This instruction cannot detect the absence or presence of a LCD module plugged into the LCD port. It only tells you that the board has an LCD port.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table is-style-stripes\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><tbody><tr><td>Note: This instruction modifies UV<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/webprojects.cloud\/wordpress\/splatco\/knowledgebase\/glossary-of-terms\/#o2825\">Dialect<\/a>\u00a0exclusions: Not available in dialects before 9.
