This chapter details the generic UV transfer instructions. These are the basic instructions that control transfers between the main part of the SPLat processor (X<\/a>, the floating point registers and\u00a0RAM<\/a>) and the UV register pair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are generic instructions. Most peripherals will eventually get their own specific instructions as well. Those instructions will be synthesised by SPLat\/PC using the generic UV transfer instructions in this chapter, the generic\u00a0SPx communication instructions<\/a>\u00a0and regular SPLat instructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are 17 or so UV transfer instructions. They provide a comprehensive repertoire of ways of moving data between SPLat’s main registers and UV, in both directions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following sections describe the transfer instructions. The instruction is summarized in the section heading. The heading shows the mnemonic following by placeholders for the required arguments.
